I usually come in here with no issues. However I am a vegetarian and asked the lady behind the till for a cheese and onion pasty half way down the road I realised after eating the top pastry in was in fact a steak bake! to my horror when I went back the lady behind the till said nothing took my pastry and went ahead trying to wrap the correct pastry. I’ve recently moved into Pinner and after a bad experience with the cafe next door, have been happily using Wenzels and am happy to do so for the foreseeable future. The staff smile, are welcoming and the atmosphere is great. Customer service is not rocket science people and if you get it right, customers will return. I wished I liked my local bakery chain more than I do. It's now trying to be Gregg's, but the produce isn't as good and costs more. Cross contamination between meat and vegetation products. And for forty years, we've always felt the bread stodgy. Not a disaster, but could be better.
