Bliss is a newer addition to dining in Maidstone town centre. Approaching the Mall entrance on King Street, there is a pavement café area outside Bliss. Pass into a conservatory style dining area with heating and a tropical décor. This is ideal for the young set as a dining and festivity area. Move on through double doors and you will find yourself in a comfortable restaurant with a bright and well-stocked bar, stucco style walls softened by floral arrangements in gold and green and mirrors that reflect the lighting. The tables and seats are comfortable. The menu reflects the Eastern Mediterranean with a selection of hot and cold mezze, other starter dishes and a range of main courses. I have dined at Bliss restaurant twice – once as part of a large party and once for a more intimate dinner with a friend. On both occasions the food was well prepared and attractively presented.
