A Serene Escape at the Old Boat Cafe âď¸
I recently had the pleasure of spending a delightful afternoon at the Old Boat Cafe, nestled by the picturesque river in Maidstone. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the enchanting atmosphere that surrounded me. The gentle lapping of the water and the soft rustle of leaves created a soothing backdrop, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The cafe itself exudes charm with its rustic decor and inviting outdoor seating, allowing guests to soak in the fantastic atmosphere. Additionally, the friendly staff made my visit even more enjoyable, providing warm service with genuine smiles.
Whether youâre looking for a peaceful spot to unwind, enjoy a bite to eat, or simply take in the delightful atmosphere, the Old Boat Cafe is a must-visit destination. I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, already planning my next visit to this charming riverside retreat. Letâs just hope the weather holds for...
Read moreWe love coming along to the Old Boat in the summer holidays. Always very welcoming and friendly! Quick service and delicious, freshly prepared food.
Today I ordered a ploughmanâs which I shared with my two children. Very good value at ÂŁ8.50. Delicious fresh salad, bread and butter, brie, cheddar, apple and piccalilli and pork pie. We sat in the boat, watched the river and the boats go by, they waved as they went past. It was a really pleasant aspect of Maidstone. I have often driven past the river, and not thought it looked nice, but it really was from down there.
There are tables outside, and you don't have to get on the boat to order or have your...
