532 Bar & Kitchen — Restaurant in Manchester

We came on 13th September as we weeea attending a concert at academy. Our tickets said we get 25% off food at 532 with a valid ticket. We didn’t eat as we knew we were going there before the concert. We have arrived before 6pm and young staff behind the bar said they have turned the kitchen off. How disappointing? We then have ordered two double whisky and one redbull and paid £30!! What happened with the happy hour that was advertised at the entrance? After the drinks we went to eat across the road and paid £21 for the same set of drinks and redbull....

I used to love this place about a year ago the staff were amazing the drinks were great and well priced! Went in today and some of the staffs attitude was very poor more concerned with chatting amongst them selves than making a good drink and it’s gotten more expensive. The drink I had was awful, not sure they do student discount anymore but I wasn’t offered it. Overall wouldn’t really recommend anymore it’s a shame some of the bar staff used to be lovely and the drinks...

I approached a female staff member to ask for a Red Bull and a cup of ice. She insisted on opening the can for me, claiming that it was part of the law. I told her I preferred to keep it closed and would open it myself, but she refused. I mentioned that I had been there before and the previous staff member hadn’t made me do that. She replied that he was probably new. Now, I’m worried that she might have done something to my drink before handing it...
