Babs is the place I always love to go when Uni Work has me stressed out of my head. The people there are friendly and, while the food takes a while if you order pizza, it is always well worth it for your lunch hour. Only downside are those customers who think it's perfectly alright to swipe the condiments and keep them at their table. If you're once of these people, do everyone a favour and put it back. What are you going to do, drink it from the bottle? I'm going to be honest, the quality of the food here isn't exactly resturaunt quality, it's basically slightly better than a McDonalds. I was working in Manchester last night and fancied some hot and crispy pizza. It was late but I realised my old haunts on Oxford Road are usually open well past midnight to satisfy the hunger of local students.

I braved many a river and bridge from Salford to this nostalgic eating establishment and ordered up a unique sounding donner and pepperoni combo. The pizza was ready after 15 mins (the wait wasn’t easy when it’s 2am and Huber strikes) Needless to say the journey through torrential rain and confusing city centre roads was not in vain.

My recent dining experience here led to what I suspect was DISCRIMINATION behavior from the staff. They not only imitated my accent but also mimicked my native language in an unfriendly tone. When I pointed out that their actions were OFFENSIVE to me, instead of apologizing, a staff member responded by asking me, “Where are you from?” I found this behavior to be incredibly RUDE and UNPLEASANT. I hope the management takes this issue seriously and implements measures to improve their service attitude, ensuring that all customers are treated with respect...
