Went for pub quiz night on Thursday, and arrived at half 5 to save a table for a quiz that starts at half 7.
Waited for two hours, only to be told that the table we had sat on was reserved and that we had to move. No reservation sticker on the table like the others had.
Member of staff was rude and told us to 'book a table like everyone else'. Mate, we waited since the pub was empty at half 5, you messed up by forgetting to reserve enough tables, not us.
I'll add, we did not refuse to leave at all,merely calmly explained the situation. He then theatened to have us physically removed.
