What a great new addition to Chorlton We came here as a group of 11 for a family meal

There were people of all ages and every single one of us left and very satisfied and very full

The food all comes very fresh and our expectations were managed by the main guy serving us called Tanzi

He was very friendly very professional and explained to us that everything will be made fresh so there will be at least a 10 or 15 minute wait we did not mind that at all

We were very impressed when the food started coming out. The portions were very big and everything was piping hot and really tasty.

I would definitely recommend this to anybody who enjoys tasting curry and fresh charcoal meat straight off the grill

There was plenty for everyone traditional Asian dishes right the way through to kebabs and kids meals including the naughty loaded fries which are a definite must even if you share them .

The cocktails were really tasty and we’re very big

Had such a wonderful experience dining here with friends! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome - everyone had such a friendly, positive energy that really added to the experience.

The manager (Yorkshire Lad) was lovely and checked in with us personally to make sure everything was perfect, which was such a nice touch. A special mention to Saeed, who was an absolute delight to talk to - so polite, attentive, and genuinely kind. You could tell he really cared about making sure we enjoyed our meal.

The food was incredible! We ordered a tawa which was full of flavour and perfectly cooked, and the roti was soft, fresh, and just amazing. The mango lassi was the perfect finishing touch - creamy, refreshing, and absolutely delicious.

Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service were all 10/10. You can really feel the passion and pride the team puts into what they do. Can’t wait to come...

RUN A MILE AWAY!!

If you’re looking for authentic Desi Zaika, this place is absolutely not the one. I wouldn’t even call it a restaurant, it’s a complete disappointment and a disgrace to the name “Desi Zaika.”

The ambience was dull, the service painfully slow and the food took over 45 minutes to arrive. When it finally did, it was a total letdown. We ordered several dishes and not a single one tasted remotely authentic. The karahis' were bland and more like korma. To make matters worse, the naan and roti arrived ten minutes later, by then, the food was already cold.

The staff lacked professionalism and basic communication. The manager’s attitude was dismissive and instead of apologising, he offered a “complimentary tea.”
