Possibly the worst and the most unprofessional domino's pizza ever. We've ordered a pizza at night and while the wait for it to be prepared, baked and out for delivery was regular the problems started when the driver got to deliver our pizza.
The driver got an address for our premises and exact name of the place to which our pizza was to be delivered as well as an additional driver instructions to help them locate our place without any inconvenience.
The driver called us after half an hour of waiting for him which is reasonable and we've expected him to tell us where he is and that he has our pizza. But instead he called that he is somewhere else and despite the driver instructions and giving him the post code for our premises he was not able to locate the building. He drove around for over half an hour which was extremely frustrating for us and called multiple times. In addition to not being able to understand our now exact instructions of how to arrive at our premises, which are in a city centre and are not hard to find, he was showing total lack of understanding English Language which was additional inconvenience.
After over half an hour of additional wait which was around two hours since we made the order the driver finally arrived at our premises with rather cold pizxa and sides and a warm drink instead of one that was supposed to be cool. In addition to that the box with the pizza was presented as if somebody stood on it or sat on it for a while and the pizza itself was squashed, which we decided is unacceptable and decided to call the domino's all saints.
The first person we dealt with was barely helpful and presented us with an opportunity to wait over 2 hours for a pizza to be remade and delivered, which at this point seemed like a joke. Another option was to have a full refund and let the driver pick the pizza up and take it back. We decided that we will wait for them to offer us with something more convenient as this was simply an awful customer service. In the end the first person just hang up on us while we were discussing the situation.
After calling back we presented the situation again and got rejected with a hang up pretty much while trying to explain the situation which just added oil to the fire.
After that we were trying to call them again multiple times while other people at our premises were waiting to get their own deliveries which the domino's drivers had issued delivering despite accurate driver instructions provided to them.
We did not touch any of the food or drink delivered to us as we were considering having a full refund and have the food taken back as it was not worth the money. We have called again to confirm that while having all of the information as well as the order number ready for them to ease the process and they were not able to provide us with information on whether the driver is coming to take the food back as we requested a full refund. In addition to that the second person we were talking to also hung up on us before we were able to ask the crucial information such as if the refund had been processed already and is on its way back to the account.
In conclusion:
The Manchester All Saints Domino's has been the worst customer experience we had with the company which is frustrating as usually other domino's are able to deliver food at the right temperature and within reasonable time.
The customer service level is not just just bad, it's repugnant and the attitude we were given from the domino's employers at the other side of the phone was repulsive and extremely unprofessional.
The drivers employed by the All Saints Domino's are not able to follow the simplest driving instructions including arriving at the right postcode within an acceptable amount of time spent waiting for good around 3:00-4:00 in the morning.
We are certain that we will no longer be customers of All Saints Domino's and we are thoroughly disappointed that from now on despite being loyal customers of Domino's in general we will be likely using...
Read moreThis franchise treats its delivery drivers like animals and so do SOME of the customers who are spoilt silly by dominos themselves As a driver asks for holiday pay, they reduce his/her hours. A sort of constructive dismissal. Drivers who have been working for over a year are told work is slow and lose their hours yet they recruit new staff. This is because the older drivers start asking for holiday pay so they want to get rid of them. They recruit new drivers as most of them do not have a clue about holidays. When these new drivers are in the job for around a year and start asking for paid holidays, they do the same to them. Typical Asian style. Each driver is told to deliver to the customers door not the front door as it should be. This gets complicated for the drivers as its mostly high rise apartments/flats where we deliver to. There are double yellow lines and clamping formats everywhere. So many drivers have gone up to the customer to deliver food only to come down and find a parking ticket on their car. It would only take a customer 30-40 seconds to hop into the lift and meet the driver at the main/front door whereby the driver can keep an eye on his car. It can take a driver up to ten minutes to find a suitable/safe parking. He then has to put his second delivery out of sight in the boot, disconnect his sat/nav,remove his system, secure the car and then lump it up to the customers bedroom because their royal highness's cant be bothered to come to their front door to collect their orders. As the driver is upstairs trying to find the flat because the customer hasnt told him which floor he should go to because they cant be bothered to speak to a lowly driver, the driver has his heart in his mouth because he may get a parking ticket by the time he goes down. A driver gets around £35 for a shift and parking fine is around the same. So in the end he has worked for nothing. This is a bane in the drivers life at this dominos. These customers are known as 'beddys' in the Dominos driver world because they want their orders delivered to their bedroom doors. When the driver gets up there, they are fully dressed and would have taken them less than a minute to go down saving the driver all hassle. When a delivery is to a house all is ok. The driver can even leave the engine running with the driver door open. Its these flats in the city centre that are a pain and SOME of the people who order from Dominos. These people choose to live in high rise flats and expect the the same service as if they were in a house. Delivery is to the front/main door. A front/main door has a buzzer for first point of contact and letterbox. Where there is no letterbox, its the nearest entry door to the letterboxes on the wall. The apartment doors upstairs have mostly no letterbox therefore cannot be classed as a front door. The drivers are only allocated a delivery time to the front door not to to park up,hide everything and go searching for a flat on the 18th floor. Then the driver will get a call from Dominos as why its taking so long to get back to the shop. Duh. The drivers get 0.75p per delivery .This includes wear and tear on the cars. Lol,do you wana like pay £750 for my gearbox to be replaced and £350 for a new powersteering rack. Not to mention £1500 depreciation loss i have incurred due to all the mileage.A round trip to the NV buildings in Salford Quays is 7.6 miles in town driving and 0.75p does not cover this. So there is nothing left for wear and tear anyway. In all fairness some deliveries are close and would get some pence left over. In a year you could perhaps get a single tyre. Eventually the drivers car will have to be replaced. All the money saved goes on the new car. The driver has worked for nothing. Dominos have got their profits, the customers got their hot pizzas to their bedroom doors and the driver gets naf all....
Read moreI ordered a pizza on 05/11/2021 at 19:19. After 30 minutes or there about, the online tracker indicated that the order had been delivered. It had not. I telephoned the Oxford Road branch believing that my order was sent there. The colleague whom answered the phone said my order was nearby and would be 10-20 minutes. 20 minutes passed and no pizza. I telephoned the Oxford branch again and the person advised me to check my order and to confirm the store it had been sent to (I did not know this information was stated on the order page). I checked the order and it stated that it had been sent to the All Saints branch. I asked the person why in the previous call he had told me my order was nearby when, actually, he hadn't a clue. He gave a babbling answer and I hung up in frustration.
I then telephoned the All Saints branch and spoke with Aftab. He apologised for the delay (which by this time had been over an hour) and promised that the order would arrive within 10-20 minutes. 20 minutes later . . . no pizza. I telephoned them again and again was told it'd arrive in 10-20 minutes. 20 minutes went by, no pizza! I had now been waiting over 2 hours. I telephoned the store again and spoke with a slightly more competent staff member whom assured me that a new order was being prepared and would be delivered to my address within 30-40 minutes. The food arrived in 30 minutes. In addition to which, I was promised a full refund of £15.99 within 3 - 5 working days.
I had to wait over 2 hours and had to deal with careless, incompetent and rude staff. The standard of customer service is frankly appalling. And if I do not receive my refund within 3-5 working days as PROMISED & WARRANTED, I shall be getting back in touch with this store immediately. Never ever will I order again from this store and I strongly recommend that others...
