Maihan Bakery — Restaurant in Manchester

I’ve shopped at this store before and never had any problems, but my recent visit was completely different. The cashier who helped me was extremely rude for no reason. I was polite the entire time, but she acted irritated and gave me a bad attitude throughout the transaction. I didn’t do anything to deserve that kind of treatment.

I understand that everyone can have a rough day, but as a customer, I expect to be treated with basic respect. This experience made me feel very uncomfortable and disappointed. Today I went to Maihan in Levenshulme for the first time and I was greeted by the beautiful and pleasant Miss Sagher who served me with a big smile, I purchased a couple of items including bonbons for my kids bonbons but she refused to take payment for me the bonbons as a gesture of kindness.. The shop is very clean and has many Middle Eastern food stuff and exotic sweets and bakeries. The manager approached me and insisted on giving me a delicious Iranian bread as a welcoming present. I have been to many shops and honestly you don’t get a service like that…. I highly recommend you pay them a visit.. Many thanks guys.. . Merci...

This is the spot - the staff is super friendly and huge selection spices/grocery items, frozen and drinks.What an amazing gem in Manchester - amazing service and products selection, especially the fresh bread.

I would recommend to avoid busy times for fresh bread as queues can be long and waiting time up to 10 to 20mins. The location takes card which is extremely convenient although ATM is next to Asda stones throw away.
