Cheap and cheerful. We tried halwa puri, omelette and paratha, chai, mango lassi, masala chicken and lamb chops for brunch. 3 adults, 3 kids, we bought multiples of some items. It cost us around £65.
Pros The lamb chops were very tender, we were very impressed. Food was hot and fresh. Busy place so you're not risking yourself eating old food. Prices were very good. Customer service was excellent, staff were very attentive and remained courteous and respectful. Even when juggling a huge number of customers their attitude was the same and they happily customised our food to our liking, I really appreciate that. Would visit again.
Cons They had just run out of cheese so we couldn't get cheese naan (they had a lot of customers flood in for some sort of lunch party the day we were there) but everything else was great so we'll be back to try those another day.
Overall a nice place for a casual meal, many of our relatives have been and had a good experience. Parked across the main road with no issue (free parking plus pedestrian crossing.) I'd recommend the place and...
Read moreMust say one of the best Tawa grills I've had since last 3yrs. Just £20 for Tawa grill for 2ppl and we still had to pack some kebabs & tikka due to the generous portions served.
You get the choose the curry (in centre) which I took liver masala and it was mind blowingly yummmilicious...The lamb chops melted in mouth and the kebabs were just perfect. The tikka was flavoury too and the naan was soooo sooooft and yummy... Icing on the cake was their service with polite and kind staff who insisted me on eating first before paying (not something u get to experience much these days) and kept checking on us if we need anything.
Also the restaurant ambience is perfect for a family outing. They've recommended me to try their karahi dishes next time which are made 'fresh on order' so it's best to call them 30mins before visiting to avoid waiting in the restaurant. Deffo coming back with more family & friends, it's a bargain if you go for the Tawa for 4 or 8 as the price gets lower and...
Read moreThis is absolute truth. We was people of 8 dining. Atmosphere was good. The food we ordered tasted good but it was all runny, as if it was watered-down. Almost like soup. The food overall tasted good. I believe the kebabs etc is not cooked fresh but rather they looked frozen then cooked. We asked for jug of water they declined. They said we only sell fizzy drinks. And I had to give my under age children fizzy drinks at 10.00pm. And the yogurt & chilli sauce plastic bottles looked filthy not been washed for year's. I don't need to lie. We won't be coming here ever again. I stick to my...
