This place has fell off big time. A year ago I would have said it’s one of the best shawarma places in Manchester but things have drastically changed. The workers have zero customer service skills and look like they don’t want to be there. I asked for a shawarma on naan and normally, this place and other shawarma places would ask you what toppings you would like. This time I wasn’t asked, and they put whatever they wanted on it and wrapped it up. There are certain things that I wouldn’t have on there like pickles and cabbage, so I asked them if I could have another one with toppings of my choice (since I was the one that was eating it). The person serving me seemed really really annoyed along with one of his colleagues and if only looks could kill, they were furious. He poured my shawarma onto the side and picked out all of the toppings, including half of the shawarma and put it back on the Nan, which I think was absolutely disgusting. They could have just made me a new one since they made the mistake themselves all in all, very rude people, and...
Read moreThe most hyped kebab place in Manchester right now. It's hard to fault it staff are good and friendly, prices cheap and the taste is overall excellent. I think there are other places not too far away that do match it, in terms of price and taste but the staff here are certainly more friendly. The meat itself isn't too different to other schwarma places can be abit salty depending how long it's been cooking on grill, the samon bread has a more chewy texture than other local offerings, that could be a plus or minus depending on your preference. Salad is pretty standard for these kind of places. The sauces are good but alittle too salty if you put alot on. Standout sauce for me is the green chilli with garlic oil. There is 1 thing that separates this place from others and that's the potatoes I always order extra portions, in your samon you may only get 2 pieces of it. A solid 9/10 because I think at least for me it's too salty but then I eat 3 in 1 sitting, if I ate 1 maybe I won't find...
Read moreI’ve heard good things about this place so was very keen on giving it a try. The shop was fairly busy when we arrived but didn’t have to wait long to be served. You can get lamb, chicken or mix shawarma and donner, on trays, or in naans or samoon. They also do sandwiches with different fillings. They do pizzas, garlic bread and a choice of fatayer. My wife and I went with a mix samoon and a donner samoon and we shared a lamb fatayer. The fatayer was delicious. The lamb was very flavourful and the bread was soft. The mix samoon was very good. The salad was nice and the meat was tasty. The bread was excellent and made it extra special. My wife also enjoyed her donner. Although I feel that the shawarma is superior as the donner is pretty standard. Overall we loved our lunch. The service was great. They were fast, efficient and helpful. It’s also very affordable. It is cash only or you can do bank transfer. If we ever come back I’d like to try the...
