Food Jungle — Restaurant in Manchester

If I could give 0 stars then I would.

Ordered via just eat and was given a delivery time. 2hrs after ordering, and 45 mins after the delivery slot the food arrived, it was luke warm to say the least.

We called the restaurant to ask about this 30 mins after said delivery time and was asked to hold whilst they spoke to the driver, the phone then cut off and subsequently we were unable to contact them until 5 mins after the cold food was delivered.

The service from the OWNER of the farcical restaurant was awful. The story they gave us was all over the place, firstly when we called they lied about the food been out for delivery as when we managed to get hold of them they didn't know how the food could be cold as it was only out for delivery 15 minutes ago (30 mins after delivery time) and that they refused to give us a refund until they sent their driver back out to check the food. I was not happy with this as a solution but went ahead with it anyway.

15 minutes after this, we tried to call the restaurant again, and the phone was answered and put down straight away - must have known it was our number. 5 minutes later Just Eat call us back to advise that the restaurant will refund us, but the restaurant requested we called them first to discuss something they didn't wish to discuss with them.

10 minutes later we get a call from the restaurant to advise the service was not good because they were busy and didn't have our number - yet the delivery driver called from outside our house to ask us to get the food?!?!?

I wouldn't eat here again if I was paid. The service was poor and I can't even tell you how the food was because I threw it straight in the bin once the refund was confirmed.

If you want food that is cold and delivered at some point that evening with absolute terrible customer service then this is your place. Otherwise, don't...

It's so frustrating this place. Whilst the food is good, the service is really what lets the place down. Just had to cancel yet another order which I did through their own website as I have done the past year as apparently they didn't receive it even though I had an email confirmation and the countdown tracker. Have been ordering from them last 2 years on and off and their awful timekeeping and rubbish communication skills have always been an issue. Got an email confirmation today when placing the order. Food didn't arrive. Rang up asking where is our food. A teenage girl who clearly didn't have a clue what she was doing, and had to keep speaking in Urdu to what I can only guess is a family member to see what was going on with my order. Absolutely clueless and unprofessional and I could understand what was said in the background in Urdu which annoyed me even more. This has happened on at least 4 occasions now. Had to keep letting it slide and advise them to do better. But today I'm well and truly fed up. You have Lost a loyal customer who has tried to warn you many times in the past to fix up, and gave you the benefit of doubt many times....

Honestly disgusting. I spend 15 quid on 3 pizzas . 1 was for kids 2 for me my husband and my eldest daughter. 1 st one for us was fine. Not too bad but the SECOND one was absolutely disgusting. It was a purply red sauce and it was a weird taste with a tinge of metal to it. Asked for pineapples and literally had maybe about 5 on the whole pizza.. talked to them via phone and the guy asked what's your post code? I tell him and he goes oh sorry my boss is calling me call me back later. WHAT? How is this man seriously saying that like.. I asked when should I call you back?

He hung up. This is absolutely disgusting and u seriously need to get a grip no wonder yaal are empty like. Fix ur shop mate i read the reviews and they're all the same. , false advertising, bad food, rude staff. Wow what an "amazing" shop. U OBVIOUSLY paied no attention . You should be reported to the government for this. Bet from all these complaints you'd get shut down. Worst...
