Red Cherry — Restaurant in Manchester

We were recommended this kebab shop by a friend's coworker, so we took a bus from the city centre just to visit it. I have to say, that trip was absolutely worth it.

Looking at the shop it really doesn't seem like much, but the warmth and positive energy of the guys running it alone is worth 5 stars. When we said we hadn't been before, we were given a generous portion of their kebab meat marinaded in the house sauce for free to try it. Basically the amount of food you'd get at a Currywurst stall in Berlin outside a DIY shop. And it was fantastic.

There are some standing spaces on a little bar and two seats at the counter, where we were put. We got chicken and lamb shish in a fresh nan bread, where we watched him roll out and bake the bread in his little tandoor. The portion size was humongous, the spicy sauce is really unique, and the positivity of the place is really uplifting. You can feel how much they enjoy working there and that they care about their food.

For 8 quid for a kebab with extra shish this is incredible value. Go there. Talk to them. Have a laugh. Have a kebab. You...

Tried the mega box kebab and was blown away

The donner definitely reminds you of your childhood in the 90's but with a modern twist dunked into donner sauce with the malai chicken ,chips seek and chicken tikka combo on combo all tasted amazing and fresh most importantly , the portion is huge 'mega' all loaded into a 12" pizza box just make sure to hold it flat I did and it still leaked so be cautious

Customer service is superb ,very friendly staff , shop is very small and can get very busy so be patient

my ONLY negative/ constructive criticism would be is the quality of the donner ,i kept crunching on tiny bones/grit like particles within the donner meat which was effecting my eating experience , maybe a more premium blend of donner would make a great investment.

This place is a Gem serving great food to the locals and beyond.

They have a great back story which you can read in house.

Located in Levenshulme, Manchester and trading for 30+ years this is a testament to the great food and service alike.

We ordered their Red Cherry Massive which consisted of Donner Meat, Seekh Kebab, Chicken Kebab, Chicken Tikka, Chips and Nan all for an amazing price of only £14 👏🏽

The Salad and was also excellent

Shanky & Sully are both amazing guys and do a good job in serving up the food generously.

The shop was spotless and the service was great, a good menu variety to choose from including kids meals!

It's CASH ONLY guys and there's plenty of street parking nearby.

I'll be going again and recommend you do too with friends and family 👍🏼
