Wow, what an amazing little cafe, the food, the staff everything about this place is incredible. The focaccia sandwiches, bread is crisp and light, not oily like some focaccia can be, they are well filled and the flavours are delicious, the pastrami is tender and just melts in the mouth, the pull pork, just mouth watering, then we come on to the sweet treats, the cannoli, lovely and crisp, well filled, just can’t go wrong, the Nutella and blood orange marmalade tart though, on another level. This place is a must try for anyone who loves great food, the staff were all lovely and friendly, food came out quickly didn’t feel like we were waiting more than 5 minutes. Will be definitely be paying this place another visit, to many things I need to try, ohh and can’t believe I almost forgot the empanadas, unbelieving had the beef, so tender, loads of flavour light crisp pastry, my wife had the chicken, again full of flavour, juicy chicken, not a single fault can be said about this place, def worth making a...

The best Deli Market in the World! I am so happy Mercado has opened on Burton Rd and I can have the taste of true Italy on my lips once again. Their food, coffee, service and ambience is unsurpassable even in Italy - it's that good! Their vanille gelato is better than I have ever tasted in the whole of the Emilia Romagna region and I have eaten in Bologna, Rimini and Riccione but Vito's gelato knocks spots off them all. Vlad, Michael and Libby greet you with the broadest smiles every time you enter and the food and drink offering is the most interesting to come to Manchester ever. They have brought not just the best Italian but South American cuisine to the suburb of West Didsbury and I am so excited to see what they do with their later night opening hours coming up to the festive period.
