Ordered via Didsbury Withington eats. This restaurant is also under the guise of Mumbai express.
The food was unacceptable. I called the number mumbai express on the website and it came through to Moon Restaurant. I attempted to get a refund and express my dismay at the food quality. The gentleman on the phone refused and offered a re delivery. I clearly said that I did not want more food. However he insisted it was the only option. So I eventually and reluctantly agreed.
Spoke with Didsbury Withington eats to get some support. They helped me to try and contact the owner (out of the country at the moment).
I then called back and said that I no longer wanted the food that I actually just wanted a refund. The person responded by saying I would have given you a refund if you had asked but it is too late as the food is on its way. You said you were happy with the order.
I said that I had clearly asked for a refund and that his behaviour was very shady. He then laughed at me down the phone.
I found the whole experience very upsetting and to be gaslit in such a way was un necessary and completely uncalled for.
I sent the food back when it came to the door. I would like a full refund.
Edit: Just to add today 11.1.24 I have been unwell...

The main course, chicken Rogan Josh was fresh and tasty, not too hot and with plenty of depth of flavour. Good qualty chicken too. We would of preferred real cooked chips to the frozen French fries. The pillau rice was tasty and plentiful.
A clean welcoming friendly Indian modern style restaurant at very affordable prices. The meal including 2 pints of Cobra came to...
Read moreCame here as a group of 7 for a celebration meal. First class service from all the staff that night with brilliant food and drinks.
We ordered mocktails (strawberry mojito, virgen mojit, piña colada, strawberry daiquiri), poppadoms and condiments, starters (mixed grill, shami kebab, onion bhaji, meat samosa, and veg samosa), and mains (chicken curry, butter chicken, and lamb curry, rice, and naan) to share. My friend and I cheekily treated ourselves with their desserts (American chocolate fudge cake and matka kulfi).
Everything was great and we enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere; it was quite busy but you can still hear each other.
The only comment: lamb tikka (in the mixed grill) and the lamb meat (from the main dish) were a little salty and overcooked.
Other than that, everything...
