Café Blah is one of those unique spots that you'll just want to keep coming back to.
The owners are really friendly people and worked hard to create a unique vibe that is nothing like anywhere else in Manchester. You'll struggle to find a place with the same effortlessly cool aesthetic as Café Blah. Even if you're from a bit further afield than Withington it's worth taking a trip to check this place out because they don't just sell food and drink, but they also sell art (some of which now adorns our home!) put on events, film screenings, pop-up shops - you name it, they (probably) do it and if they don't there's a chance they will in future. They're well worth a follow on Insta to keep up to date with events they're hosting.
Café Blah is also surrounded by many other really cool businesses, like A Curious Collection, which is literally just above them selling all sorts of unique vintage items, clothes and art. All the more reason to visit and find out what Withington...

Negative: The lady behind the counter conspicuously showed she was scared of me, even taking a step back, looking at her colleague, and saying, 'I don't know what you're on about', not, 'could you repeat what you said' or 'couldnt hear you'
I'm soft-spoken, shy, and mildly autistic. I saw she had to go down the steps to bring me my drink. I went back offering that I would be happy to wait to take the drink myself to the table.
I do NOT wish to start asking myself why she would even feel the way she did and showed it to me. It never leads to a good place.
I just wanted to have my hot chocolate in silence with my head down. Not all of us are perfectly happy every day but we don't go out there showing fear, making the other person horrible either
Overall, a recommend. However, I can find other cafes where I'm not...

The narrow pathway from the bar to the main room is one of the coziest and sweetest places I’ve seen. Overall, every inch of café blah seems to be incredibly sincere - in comparison to the more conventional bars closer to the centre of Manchester, which all seem to be built to be easily renewable due to the heavy traffic of people, this place seems to hold on to things that were added to it, be it...
