This has now become an all time favorite place of mine!
Im not vegan or vegetarian but watch my diet and many pubs and restaurants just don't have many options available to accommodate. I looked at the menu and felt happy that I had so many options.
Staff was wonderfully kind, friendly and all around good vibes. They are also super understanding with what you eat or don't eat and honestly make dining out easy.
My husband who was quite nervous trying food at a vegan/vegetarian cafe was amazed by how much he enjoyed the food. He had the chili burrito and tried the hummus and falafel with our mini mezze as well. He left completely full because the burrito was so big
My fuel burger (soya) was absolutely delicious! Also loved the salads that came with the meals, perfect ingredients, fresh and the dressing was amazing. I also had a couple of their delicious chips which were worth the diet splurge 1000%
Prices are also great especially considering how much you get for pricing and how good it is.
Being from the Pacific northwest Washington in America it reminded me a lot of home, and its satisated a feeling I've craved to find since immigrated over.
The atmosphere was amazing too, love the art, the colors and live music above on the second floor as well. So if you're also a fan of local bands and supporting local artists this is another great reason to come to Fuel Cafe.
It's also very clean and well presented.
Will definitely be back. What a...
Read moreFantastic value for money for the food! I got the chilli burrito meal and my sibling got the halloumi meal. I was starving before hand and entirely satiated afterwards. The burrito was delicious, not too rice-y, it only had a moderate amount of spice which made it more enjoyable for me. The guacamole was delicious and very high quality and fresh. We originally considered trying the desert (splitting it as it was almost £5 for the waffle desert), but it would have been a while til we were hungry again! My meal was £8.20 which I think is fantastic for a meal. I'm used to being dragged somewhere where I end up paying £14 for a vegan burger that I demolish in 2 minutes so it's nice to have something I can really enjoy and for a enjoyable price too! There was a dog there with a guest (just a warning to anyone with allergies) but it was not disruptive at all. The toilets were fine but looked like bar toilets with the various stickers and wording, so don't take your traditional...
Read moreI was disappointed with this place, but I'd come back because I had really high hopes for it and maybe I just went on an off day. I had the falafel burger which was a bit dry, and my friend had the chilli burrito. I asked whether it was spicy (he doesn't like spicy food) and was told it wasn't, but it arrived and was too spicy for him to eat. I love spicy food and agreed that it was spicy (really nice though!!!). Our friend who had been on a different day said that she had the burrito and it wasn't spicy at all, so maybe it varies from chef to chef or day to day, but either way he shouldn't have told us it wasn't when it was, because my friend missed out and paid for a meal he couldn't eat. We also ordered onion rings which were delicious. The vibe was pretty cool although the staff weren't overly friendly. I'd come back to give it another try but I wasn't impressed...
