I'm so glad they have scrapped the tiny cold 1/4 slices and now make the fresh amd hot single tin rectangle slices

Upto now i have tried 6 pizza to date and the new macaroni cheese here's my rating for each

Smoky chic Taste 7/10 chicken could do with more flavour however was still nice and the cheese and pizza sauce really makes this pizza

Pesto Patch Taste 8/10 The pesto aioli works great with this slice just wish there was more toppings

Sweet peps Taste 9/10 Love the strong pepperoni Taste and works nicely with cheese, pizza sauce and hot honey

Island heat Taste 7.5/10 Really looked forward to this new slice ams was sloghty underwhelmed, I like the pineapple however the jerk flavour was mild need approx 10x more spices

Carnivore feast Taste 8/10 I thought this would be the best out of all of the combination however due to getting half the amount of pepperoni 6 pieces compared to 12 on the sweet peps and no hot honey it felt like it was missing something, I like the beef and chicken on there however I think it needs some aioli on top or hot honey and 3 more pepperoni pieces then I'd think this could hit a 10

Cheesy G bread Taste 7/10 Tastes pretty good however this was NOT cheesy it was extremely light on the cheese.

Peps mac and cheese Taste 4/10 Looking at this mac n cheese I was like this is the one and how wrong was I, I hate to say this but I have to be honest and unbiased this was probably one of the worst mac n cheese I have ever had , all I could taste was plain boiled pasta and plain flour, needs way more cheese and somthing strong like cheddar, pepper and salt. The middle was slighty cold too like it was taken out of a freezer and put in the oven also as you can see from the picture i uploaded it was missing the vital pizza sauce and hot honey .

Either way great new place even though it's on the pricer side ans could do with some improvements, I think every pizza should have aoile sauce and hot honey or have the option for us to choose which sauce we would like on any pizza combination and more pizza...

I recently purchased the 2 pan and a side deal. X1 Peps Pan X1 Carnivore X1 Plain Mac & Cheese

The delivery via Deliveroo was very speedy and food arrived well packaged and hot!

I started with the Mac & Cheese, which was very good! The portion size was fair and it was very cheesy with a perfect crunchy top crust. However, even though this was specified as plain, I feel as thiugh a great improvement would be a deeper depth of flavour, be it some sort of cajun seasoning or maybe even garlic! However, I cant complain as this was specified as plain. I look forward to trying the ither Mac & Cheese options.

As for the pans. The tomato sauce is fantastic. It had a great texture and nice depth of flavour. The toppings on both pizza’s were of a quality similar to any take out in the area and were not much to rave about.

I was particularly excited for the Peps hot honey sauce drizzle, as this seems the perfect contrast of flavours for the pizza, but it didn’t seem to stand out in conjunction with the other toppings. This could possibly be due to the fact that it had been sat in the box during delivery, so this can affect the pizza’s freshness as aposed hot out of the oven.

Finally, the base. The edges had a great crisp to them, however this massively lacked in the rest of the pizza base. It was also a very heavy base. I would much prefer a crispier and lighter base. However, it was still particularly airy!

Overall, a decent meal that could benefit from some improvements as stated above. This is just my preference however! I think the price point is particularly high, but nonetheless I do not feel like I have wasted my money. I think it was well spent on trying out a new place and supporting local businesses.

I recently visited Dough Club Pizza, a hidden gem in Manchester, after seeing all the buzz on Instagram — and wow, it absolutely lived up to the hype! Located in Withington, this spot offers a unique experience where you order your food from a window to take away.

Kyle, who served us, was nothing short of exceptional. His friendly demeanor, extensive knowledge of the menu, and helpful suggestions truly elevated our visit. He is a fantastic asset to the Dough Club team.

Now, onto the food — the pizza was unlike any other I've ever had. The thick, airy, focaccia-style base was incredibly light, soft, and delightfully doughy. We opted for the Smoky Chic pizza, which featured a heavenly blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheese, topped with club pizza sauce, BBQ chicken, red onions, and a drizzle of BBQ sauce. Each bite was packed with smoky, cheesy goodness.

We also tried the Jerk Chicken Wings — a fantastic choice. The four baked wings were perfectly seasoned with salt, pepper, and chili flakes, then topped with juicy pineapple and a mouthwatering jerk sauce. The garlic and herb dip, along with the pesto aioli, added the perfect finishing touch.
