ParkWay Sandwich Bar (Chorlton) — Restaurant in Manchester

Having been here a few times and liked the food, myself and 6 others(guests from out of town) wanted to book for new year’s eve. I called to enquire and about spaces and if there was availability. Someone answered the phone and took my details, explaining that they would check the bookings system and call me back in a few minutes. I completely understood and obliged. 30 minutes passed and I still hadn't received a call back, so thinking maybe they had taken my number down wrong, I called back. Someone else answered and I explained I had called earlier and made my enquiry again. The lady said that she would call me back within the hour to confirm. 90 minutes later I still hadn’t heard anything. Considering the children in our group like their food, and our guests wanted to try persian food, I thought I would call one last time.

I called again, gave my name, and the same lady who had answered my second call was so unbelievably rude, suggesting that I should have waited for her call. I explained that considering the date of my booking (NYE) I wanted to ensure my guests had a good time and that if they are full, to start looking elsewhere. She again, with a raised voice and rude tone, suggested I look elsewhere as they were still, 2 hours after my initial enquiry by phone, unable to tell me if they had availability. 3 hours later they were advertising space for NYE dinner on instagram.

Truly, the rudest woman ive ever spoken to in hospitality. Book elsewhere, avoid...

Avoid This Place – Worst Breakfast Experience!

We had breakfast at Park Way Restaurant on Sunday morning and it was the worst food experience of our lives. We ordered kaleh pache, and it was absolutely disgusting. All five of us ended up with diarrhea after the meal—clearly, the food was not fresh or prepared properly. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

To make matters worse, after we paid our bill (and even left a £5 tip), the staff had the audacity to come back and demand a 10% service charge, claiming they had “forgotten” to add it to our bill. Service charges are optional, and a business should never chase customers down for extra money after payment.

The service was terrible, and to top it all off, this is a cash-only business—no card payments accepted. That alone is suspicious, especially when they insist on charging extra fees.

Avoid this place at all costs. The food is unhealthy, the service is appalling, and the way they operate is completely...

A Truly Pleasant First Visit!

We visited this restaurant for the first time today, and everything was wonderful. The food was excellent, and the staff were even better.

The gentleman who served us was extremely polite and kind, and he created such a positive and welcoming vibe. The owner also greeted us warmly, which made us feel genuinely valued as first-time visitors.

The restaurant serves Iranian-style fast food made with authentic (or very close to authentic) ingredients, which brought back a beautiful sense of nostalgia.

The prices were fair, and the outdoor seating area had a really pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.

Overall, it was a great experience for us. Thank you! We’ll definitely be coming back and I absolutely recommend others...
