What a joyful evening! The community centre was transformed into a warm welcoming ( and very well-stocked!) bar with a side room where an Open Mic session took place. So many friendly people of all ages and really energetic staff - including wood-fired pizza oven outside that never stopped turning out fresh pizza all night . This is a friendly neighbourhood and the monthly Tavern is lively & fun. Music in the side-room & excellent pizzas complement great ales/wines etcetera. My preference is early evening 6pm onwards when it is quieter and the open mic from 8pm before it all gets a bit too...
