I recently had the pleasure of visiting Alostora, a seafood restaurant in Manchester that I discovered through a captivating social media video. While I was in London at the time, the enticing visuals and rave reviews compelled me to take a train to Manchester, and I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I've made!

From the moment I entered Alostora, I was greeted by the owner, who exuded warmth and friendliness. Their passion for seafood and commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience was evident from the start. The atmosphere was inviting and vibrant, setting the stage for what would be an unforgettable meal.

Now, let's get to the food! I have had my fair share of seafood from various locations, including Egypt, which is renowned for its freshness. However, the fish I had at Alostora surpassed all my expectations. It was incredibly fresh, beautifully seasoned, and cooked to perfection—each bite was a delight! I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the dishes, which showcased the culinary expertise at Alostora.

We visited Alostoro restaurant because of all the good reviews we had seen but unfortunately we were disappointed.

The owner seems friendly and nice but there’s few things that I have to address and those are:

He should hire more staff as he was the only one I saw who took people to their seats, he wrote down orders and brining the food to the tables. - it took forever.

The owner kept taking his phone out to video the people, few times I noticed his phone was directly on us, which made me uncomfortable and I seen a woman across our table holding the menu next to her face so she’s not on the video…I know you want to post it on your social media as a form of advertisement but some people don’t like that, maybe stop doing that every 5 minutes?

The food. After waiting for so long, the food cake and I couldn’t finish it at all due to it being too salty 😭 maybe it’s their tradition, I don’t know but I’m Middle Eastern and everyone at my table found their food to be too salty unfortunately so for that I’ve given it 2 stars to be nice 🥲

The restaurant, the decor wasn’t all that but each to their own, the toilets however, sooo dirty! And no toilet paper! Remember there’s kids at the restaurant and when they need toilet they have to go, I had to go down to take him, found out there’s no toilet paper so had to come back up to take baby wipe down with me 🤦🏻‍♀️
