Came in, Friday afternoon and I’d never had such poor customer service. Lad behind the bar with shaved head, and a black beard was THEE rudest barman I have ever come across. I was served by a very polite Candian I want to say barmaid, who was very helpful, I asked if there was a reason I couldn’t order the hosue salad, and she was unsure so asked the lad behind the bar with the shaved head and beard, and he looked at me, and then looked at her and just shrugged his shoulders. Then continued to stare at me whilst I was being served. I then received my meal, which may as well had been thrown on the table. I politely asked for some more gravy, and he rolled his eyes and walked off, and we never did receive the gravy. We also asked for a side salad with the chicken flat bread, which came out with chips. I asked the barman if those couldn’t be changed, and he said “ yes, sorry about that, I’ll get that to you now” and we never received that as well.
If you don’t enjoy working with customers, or don’t enejot your job, then find another! As I said before, THEE most miserable twa1s I have ever come acorss...
Read moreWent here on Saturday 2nd December @2pm ish, it was busy good atmosphere. We got the 1st set of drinks at the bar and service was good, however later whilst at the table we used the Scan QR CODE system to order, after 15 mins of waiting for the drink to come to our table I went to the bar area and a member of staff just said they were there just on a tray waiting so that service was terrible! Food was ok and that came out of the kitchen swiftly, the waitress was friendly even though she was busy. Both my Girlfriend and I used to Toilet facilities in this pub and agreed they were disgusting, BOTH the Ladies and Gents had Toilets with doors MISSING and out of all the 6 or 7 sinks to wash your hands ONLY 1 had a trickle of very slow COLD running water in the Gents. Conclusion we won't be going there again and wouldn't send anyone or recommend anyone goes there unless they have had a tetanus jab. The Manchester OUTDOOR Christmas Market area had Great Food and Drinks, and toilets with doors on!! Annual Christmas 🎄 Shopping Trip in Manchester completed until next year Merry...
Read moreAn overall very disappointing experience at the Piccadilly Tavern after an afternoon visit to Manchester. The food was average and of Wetherspoons standard as was the whole atmosphere. The main thing that let the pub down was the terrible attitude of the young bar man that served me, he was most unhelpful and rude. My advice would be go elsewhere or if not don’t be misled by signs behind the bar that say ‘a beer and burger from £8.25’ (note the word from - as was pointed out to me when my bill was considerably more) or if ordering a Diet Coke request a smaller size in advance because you will receive a pint (and charge you over £3 for the privilege!) In addiction make sure you read the menu thoroughly before ordering as the staff are most unhelpful, make a note of your table number which you can hardly see on the menu holders or you’ll be ordered back to go and find it (and then when you can’t the bar man will sarcastically tell you it himself!) Overall summary, average food served by very rude and...
