A large pub with a very similar vibe to a Wetherspoons. Boothroyd says he has hardly ever been here as it can be a bit intimidating on busy days, especially Saturdays in the footie season. It is a great place to meet up, a cheap place to fill up with food and drink. The huge plus for Boothroyd was a choice of 8 real ales from all over. We had a 4.4% Pale Ale, Brummie Blond by Birmingham brewery.. there were ales from London Sussex, Rutland, Suffolk and Surrey. Also Wainwright's Amber but not sure where this is now brewed..I think Staffordshire. Loads of TV's. The breakfast menu looks great, £8 for a massive full Irish..smaller options available. Changes to main menu at midday. Don't bring your date for the food but otherwise looks cheap and cheerful. £10 deal for two mains.

I wish zero stars could be awarded because they certainly don't deserve one. Firstly staff are beyond useless! I was served an undercooked egg when I asked for it to be redone they took it back and refried the same egg!! Ever heard of food poisoning because you guys are trying to serve it up for fun! My sister payed for mushrooms which they forgot , when it did come it was inedible. They also forgot the cheese off my sons stale burger which remained uneaten. On top of the horrendous food they allowed a group of drunk irish lads who were also taking drugs on the premises to blast their own music whilst every one else in the pub was trying to enjoy their Lunch, the staff were well aware they just chose not to act. This place was a complete waste of money and ruined our lunch date, I'd avoid at all costs

It was a busy Saturday and this pub had a couple empty seats. The food looked and tasted nice, a decent priced Irish Breakfast with proper sausages (I will add) and there were options on the menu. No prices for any extra breakfast items though. The mocha/latte cups were not the one, quite weak and the servers walking around could look a bit more happier (not dread their job) Would eat here again, but wouldn't be in my top 10 in Manchester.

The food, atmosphere, and the Staff was amazing. The Venue is very clean, and the music is at just the right level, so you can enjoy your meal and conversation. Football was on t.v. but the sound was muted, so non fans were not subjected to having to listen to the commentary. The food was good value for ££, very tasty and well presented

The food is average, probably chain food. But the atmosphere is nice!
