I visted this Pub recently with family and friends and parked in the car park not knowing we had to register to park there or we would recieve a parking fine by law if we are using there premises the staff should inform all car users inside the pub that they must register they have parked in the car park to avoid incurring any inconvenience and fines just like other establishments, example there is a disused pub on Stockport road that has the same situation and they always let there customers know there are cameras and please register just in case they forget, that used to be a very very busy and popular pub because all the students use it and around the surrounding areas there is nowhere to park because its all double yellow lines, when going back to the premises on my observation the sign post on the wall says this car park is for customers only no sign on the post saying cameras until you drive...

This hotel IS NOT child friendly in any way shape or form! Unfortunately we missed the small print which stated children wasn’t allowed in the pub after 7pm but to be honest after hearing and seeing all the anti social behaviour from the locals, I’m glad I couldn’t take my daughter in there. The loud entertainment goes on until midnight ( our room was literally vibrating with the music). This would be great if it was an adult only hotel whereby you want to party the night away and not mind the locals staying outside shouting and messing around until 1am. If you are hoping for a decent night sleep, I’d chose a different hotel. The rooms are freezing cold due to no double glazing and the windows being very old and they are also not very clean or tidy. All in all, I would not book this hotel for me and my daughter again. The 1 positive was, the bed was comfy (2 watch tv as we didn’t get a...

PUB review.

NO customer satisfaction here. Very bad experience.

I was alone for the new year. I drove a long time and chose this place to celebrate new year. there was a queue and I waited in line. when it was my turn the lady (short Height and rude) said they no longer serve. it was 11.46 exactly. she could have served me as the last customer it would have taken a minute and could create a beautiful experience for the new year for me. I told her I have just arrived to let her kno that I was a new customer not someone that had time to order before. she repeated we do not serve now. This shows how untrained the staff are. If I was the owner of the place I wouldn't want her to work for me. very bad experience. business of this nature is all about people. a concept that she is unfamiliar with. they made their own drink and closed the bar to celebrate and acted as if I was not there....

landlord of the pub clearly in too deep though, not a clue what they were doing. Bathroom had a big puddle of water upon arrival, staff assured us it wasn't a leak from the ceiling which I pointed out it was and wiped it up with a towel and offered us a free pint as an apology. When we came back from night out the ceiling was gushing with water and the emergency contact being the landlord didn't answer, we needed buckets and towels but we had no access to them. The landlord didn't apologise for not getting in touch during the night and said a free pint was sufficient. It's a shame I can't add videos as the picture doesn't do it justice Absolutely avoid this place!!!

This is an imposing pub sat overlooking a crossroads. Super building with lovely large interior, including a games room with a pool table. A Joseph Holts pub so Paulicarus had a pint of bitter. An all time favourite. The two tiered front terrace and beer garden is south facing so we made the most of an autumnal sunny Sunday afternoon. Not sure if we had been before. Large car park at rear, register at bar.

Terrible hotel. Hole in the ceiling, shower not working properly and chewing gum on the sheets. Would never stay here again. Took ages to check in as they had one girl behind the bar who doubled up as a receptionist the room was smelly and dirty. Would never stay here again.
