Tony's Stadium Chippy — Restaurant in Manchester

It's just disgusting.

it's called Mr Mac's now but they still want to use Tony's stadium chippy which it isn't and had a very good name with fantastic food. We've been here a few times (3) since it changed hands and the food is consistent.... rubbish and tasteless, we always have fish and chips, the fish today was awful, it was watery, no taste, really didn't taste like cod, and the chips.. underdone and just awful.

They've put a sign up saying 'don't have a go at the staff about the prices then they give some dubious examples of price increases, They've also taken down the price list.

I know this place only gets busy on match days but when you do come to the Etihad STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. There are better fish and chip shops within a short...

Without doubt the best chippy in Droylsden, maybe even Tameside as a whole. Don't get fooled by the long queues before a Man City game. The staff are super fast and you always end up getting served as quickly as possible. Price is good too. Can't fault this chipy, food is well cooked and a good selection. update it's now under new management and you can tell, i had fish and peas the fish was nothing to write home about and the peas were disgusting, the wife had meat pie chips and curry the only good thing was the pie, sadly i will not be going back. come back...
