Food quite nice, albeit cold, and terrible service; Food arrived over half an hour late despite being told at ten to it was out for delivery, yet at 20 past it still was yet to be delivered and so called to ask whether we could have a fresh batch sent out, warm. They agreed yet 10 minutes after that conversation our original order turned up stone cold. Obviously starving after having to wait and extra 30mins already we ate the food and called the restaurant to complain that the original food had come (despite being told it no longer would) and it was, as expected cold. Wondering what they would do to rectify this we were told essentially nothing, with the staff becoming extremely aggressive over the phone and refusing to do anything, claiming we were lying to them about the food being cold even though they'd told us themselves it was out for delivery for nearly 40 minutes??? Then said if we wanted them to do anything they would send the delivery driver to collect the cold food they'd already sent to prove it was cold despite the fact we'd obviously been waiting over an hour and a half for the food we'd ordered and were starving. Absolute farce, never ordering delivery again and would...
Read moreWe used to be regular customers of Tzatziki’s when we lived in South Manchester and it was the best Greek food around! We now live on the other side of Manchester and decided to treat ourselves over the weekend as we’d not been there for a couple of years. After an hours drive we ordered our usual choice - chicken souvlaki - which used to come with a lovely Greek salad. To our disappointment, the meal last night was nothing like it used to be. The Greek salad used to have Feta cheese, olives and red onion. Last nights ‘Greek salad’ was literally a couple of leaves and one baby tomato cut in half!! We ordered extra pitta bread and dips too and the pitta bread was just two tiny quarters of bread! The meal cost £26 which is ridiculous for the size and quality of the food. Really disappointed and will not be going there again. Such as shame as it used...
Read moreA small cafe that does a modest menu of traditional Greek food. I have eaten here twice and the prices were reasonable for some delicious food. £4 for a pita filled with chicken/pork, sauce and chips was great. A couple of vegan options are available but we had some trouble confirming that the waitress understood what dairy-free meant for my lactose intolerant friend. The sharing platter of meats was delicious without being greasy, but having the dips, feta cheese and butter all on the plate wasn't great for my friend. Service is usually pretty quick and there is a steady trickle of people coming for takeaway or to grab a quick eating in experience. The music is pretty bad, but...
