BOBA SHACK Mansfield — Restaurant in Mansfield

Love the Tiger Milk Tea and Matcha Milk Tea with Tapioca. Personally can’t stand the fruit teas and popping boba but both kids love it so they must be doing something right. The Hot chocolate is great on a cold day.

A little pricey at nearly £5 for a small cup, but okay when compared to the likes of Starbucks/Costa.

All staff are friendly and personable with excellent customer service skills and I’ve never had a bad experience to date. The place always seems clean and tidy.

Only downside would be consistency of the milk teas between visits - I’ve found this is somewhat dependant on which staff member makes mine (and in fairness to them, probably my personal preferences).

The following occasional leave me disappointed: Sometimes the milk is not ice cold and tastes like room temperature (I personally like drinks to be ice cold) Other times, the drink is rather bland to me (not sweet enough/not enough syrup?)

I have a sweet tooth and to me the tiger milk should always be very sweet. There doesn’t seem to be a ‘standard’ and all the staff do this differently.

Some other bubble tea vendors I’ve visited ask which level of sweetness you’d prefer, perhaps this would be a good idea to accommodate different tastes?

All in all keep up the good work and it’s great to see a smaller business succeeding in the local area instead of...

What a shame!! When the manager is away, the staff are rude. I'm assuming the joyful gentleman is the manager? As the staff were more presenting more happier whilst he was present, hence my assumption. So apologies, if not. We were waiting to be serviced patiently, there were four staff member present, yet it took 3mins before anyone even spoke to us. The blonde lady who served us was lovely and polite.

Also, I saw that one of the staff members was moving the popping boba jars, she took the lids off and held the jars putting her finger and thumb in the jars, which will contaminate the boba jars.

Also, unfortunately, the scoops of popping boba has reduced since our last four visits. I suppose this is inevitable.

Now more alarming is that the rainbow popping boba option (mix of coloured&favoured ) is now put in a jar all together. This not only looks disgusting to the eye, looks bland, and like it's been sat there for a very long time. But more importantly I'm sure this will affects the taste of the individual boba flavours? All in all, definitely not worth a £4.49 purchase.

Been here a lot in the past, but noticed in these past few weeks that the customer service has gone downhill. staff stood on their phones whilst working on tills, yelling at customers, drinks being made at a poor quality, either too watery or way to sweet. asked for a bag today and was spoken to like a child. poor personal hygiene, have seen smoke coming out the back room so assuming thats not up to regulation either. workers walk around with vapes in hand. Also got served today whilst manager and a worker was in the midst of cleaning counters and placed my drinks on top of the soap. Prices for the quality and service simply doesnt seem...
