Gala Cafe Lounge — Restaurant in Mansfield

This place is like a cult, if you’re a newcomer the staff treat you like some kind of alien- a similar aura to inviting an EDL member to a bar mitzvah- but if you’re a long term resident at this fine establishment you’re the crème de la creme, provoking more the aura of priests to the pope. The food is questionable (my beans tasted like sugar for some reason) but aye? It’s a small price to pay for the good crack you get in here from all the commotion of people coming and going....

We ordered two breakfasts..when it arrived, it was two bacon one sausage bean & tomatoes..and a fried egg..very poor quality, beans and tomatoes cheap& nasty fried egg rock solid..cheap sausage...coffee undrinkable, also cheap and nasty..expected a more for the price..needless too say,we won't...

Fairly good cafe. Good location. Nice affordable food. Staff are lovely and friendly and such a friendly atmosphere. Cash only. Could maybe do with a revamp to make it a little more modern as very old...
