I attended this restaurant on 21st September to celebrate my friend's birthday, but sadly, the experience was completely spoiled by one of the staff members. When we arrived, my friend, who had made the booking, gave her name, and we were seated. There were six of us, and although we booked in advance, the restaurant was quiet with only two other occupied tables.
We ordered our food and were asked to pay straight away, which we did. Later, we realised that we’d been overcharged because the £70 deposit hadn’t been deducted from the bill. When we brought this to the attention of a staff member, she rudely refused to correct it. We asked to speak to the manager, who took 45 minutes to come over. He was busy, but when he finally arrived, he acknowledged that it was their mistake and apologised. However, after speaking to the female manager, his attitude changed, and he only offered us complimentary drinks, which we declined as we needed to leave.
We were shocked by the lack of communication and how poorly the situation was handled, leaving us feeling scammed out of the £70. The delay and mismanagement ruined what should have been a special birthday meal. The venue and food were fine, but the service was awful. My friend has reported this to Trading Standards and will be following up until the issue is resolved. If the restaurant wishes to address this, they should get in touch before the matter escalates further. To add in response We was not refunded at all ! I would love to see your proof of giving a refund as this statement is a total fabrication of your lies .So aswell as your customer service louise! Being absolutely unacceptable .Your lies on how late you say we was, is yet another lie.which is poor on your behalf again .As we drove so far to attend to celebrate the special occasion. My sister booked the bottomless brunch as part of my Hen do weekend away. First impressions were not good, The restaurant looked closed upon arrival, we had a cold reception as we walked in. Then we got seated at our table and before anything got asked to make full payment of £40 each.
This was giving red flags... I've never known this to happen? They started bringing the drinks out, admittedly the girls were great and very quick at topping us up! (you don't have to wait for whole table to finish before re-ordering, we all agreed this was great as normally you would all have to order in rounds)
Anyway with the drinks flowing, we made our food orders. We tried to order a couple dishes to be told they had no pasta which annoyingly eliminated 2/5 options available. They had 'tapas' options but they was quite literally sauces!
So the food we ordered was burger and chips, chicken shish. Giving credit where due... the food was stunning! VERY TASTY!
Then with food done is was mission get drunk!!! OR NOT.... By the end of the brunch not a person felt like they had an alcoholic beverage...STRANGE. We couldn't figure out if there was no alcohol in the drinks or if it was just VERY watered down.
Sober as anything.... they announced we had one more drink left (40 mins into this 90min BB) I had set a timer when we got our first drink because I had a feeling it was going to go something like this … hmm. We questioned why we wasn't having the full 90 mins worth of drinking time to be told its in the policy. SO BEAWARE it is not in fact a 90min brunch but a 60min brunch!!!
The décor is better on pictures than in real life, it has some good photo areas if your into that. There was no atmosphere, We was there 3pm- 6pm and not one single other customer came in or out.. says a lot at peak brunching time on a Saturday I suppose?!
Would I recommend.. NO! Do I think we got conned... YES! Would I ever pay upfront...

The first occasion the order was cancelled after waiting for over an hour. This time over an hour after ordering the delivery time keeps fluctuating between 37 and 51 mins until delivery and not yet preparing order so we cancelled it and have gone elsewhere. The food looks incredible but we have never had the chance to try it. Tried to call the restaurant which only provides a mobile number on their website not Just eat to find it doesn't accept calls.
