Bridge Tavern — Restaurant in Mansfield

A proper pub which seems rare these days with great atmosphere, it is a Marstons pub unfortunately so the prices are a fair bit higher than a lot of other places but that's Corp greed for you but the staff are outstanding, as a regular I've come to regard them as more of an extended family and friends. And having some where with rock night and occasional live bands is fantastic when the towns musical soul was ripped out years ago with the loss of basically every single large music venue in Mansfield. Absolutely gem of a pub right by the river..the lady who runs the place is so welcoming and always in a happy mood and her friend who she co runs the pub with has a lot of banter to lift customers spirits..I sometimes bring my dog down as dogs are welcome in the bridge seeing as them two are dog lovers themselves. She gets lots of fusses from them. They have a pool table and often host pool matches and a jukebox too..every single time I've visited the toilets have been spotless too ...would highly...

Lovely atmosphere from the minute you walk in to the moment you leave. The bar staff always greet you with a smile. The bar is well stocked, a variety of hand pump beers, spirits are reasonably priced. A couple of offers on the chalk board, near the bar. Could do with a couple of non alcoholic beers, at present just have Becks Blue. The tables are always clear of empty glasses. Its a dog friendly pub, water always out for the dogs.
