Out with some friends in Mansfield for an event, we were on the hunt for some decent food in town afterwards. Hadia was recommended to us by one of the staff at our hotel and it was a great shout. Absolutely fantastic Lebanese food, very reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and helpful. It has real family-run vibe. According to the owner, it used to be takeaway-only, and they'd only opened up the restaurant (on the 1st floor) relatively recently. When we first arrived we weren't even sure if it was a restaurant, but luckily we ventured upstairs! Anyway, this is highly recommended. I'm sure I'll be visiting again next time I venture up to Mansfield from London :)

This was my first time visiting Hadia and I will 100% be a returning customer. This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend and it did not disappoint. The food was so delicious, authentic and fresh. It was as good as the Lebanese food we’ve previously had in London and Dubai. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Thank you Hadia!

Great to have something different in town. The food was excellent and the owners very friendly. We mainly all ate vegetarian and every dish was very tasty and the portion sizes were very good, enough to take some home.

Where do I even begin?

I’ve eaten many things in my life. I’ve dined in five-star restaurants, tasted meals prepared by chefs with Michelin stars, and survived more questionable takeaways than I care to admit. But nothing and I mean nothing prepared me for the spiritual, emotional, and borderline out of body experience I had when I walked into this place and tried Lebanese cuisine for the very first time.

From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by staff so warm, so welcoming, it felt like being embraced by long lost relatives I didn’t know I had. Their smiles were brighter than a Beirut sunrise, and their enthusiasm? Infectious. They didn’t just serve food… they shared stories, culture, soul.

Now the food… oh dear God, the food.

I took my first bite and felt the earth shift on its axis. It was as if Jesus himself kicked off his sandals and took a slow, reverent stroll across my tongue, whispering “You are loved” with each step. The hummus? Silky clouds of joy. The falafel? Crispy prophets of flavour, preaching to my taste buds in languages I didn’t know I spoke. And the shawarma? Don’t get me started. That meat was so tender, I briefly considered proposing marriage to it.

Midway through the meal, I blacked out for a moment, not from the food being too rich, but because my senses couldn’t keep up. I ascended to some higher plane of existence where tabbouleh reigns supreme and every breath tastes faintly of garlic and fresh herbs.

I left the restaurant dazed, transformed, and questioning everything I thought I knew about food. I’ve since been back three times in one week. I dream of their baklava. I write poems about their baba ghanoush. I would fight a bear for one more bite of their lamb.

So yes if you’re wondering whether to try Lebanese food here, stop thinking and go now. Don’t walk…levitate. Your tongue deserves...

we ordered a meal on deliveroo, after 1 hour i rang the restaurant, after googling the number, because Deliveroo had the wrong contact details, after finally speaking to the restaurant i was told it was about to leave and be delivered, 30 mins later i called again, to be told it had been delivered, which it hadn't! after 15 mins on the phone and being called back, i was told there was a problem and the food was being sent out with extras, 30 min later by this time it is 1145pm i finally get through to Deliveroo who say there is nothing they can do but cancel the order. so 2.5hours after ordering food NOTHING! not the greatest idea when your family with a Nottingham food reviewer @hadytate! I'm sure he will be making a surprise tick tock at some point to try the food seeing as we were unable to! I not be using this restaurant or Deliveroo again and will be making...

Absolutely incredible, extraordinary, mouth watering food! Believe when I say that I almost cried when I had the chicken liver in pomegranate molasses! So so good! We were greeted with a smile and the service did not stop being incredible. I cannot believe how this restaurants (which used to be a takeaway), did not come up to our - meat eating lovers, radar all this time! I can say that this is now my new favourite place to go to! The decor 😍 I absolutely love, it has a traditional, cozy feeling and makes you feel like home. Also, if you go you MUST try their freshly squeezed juices. I had the dates, grapes and pine nuts and my partner had the lemonade with fresh mint!...
