I am absolutely outraged and appalled by my recent visit to Nando's. I walked in expecting a delicious meal, ready to enjoy the famous Nando's experience, but what I got was nothing short of a travesty. Let me set the scene: I eagerly ordered my meal, spending a whopping £20, only to discover—after I had paid—that this establishment had the audacity to conceal a vital detail. There was NO ketchup. None. Zilch. Zero.

Now, some might say, "It’s just ketchup," but to me, it’s the lifeblood of any meal. The gooey texture of tomato sauce is essential, an absolute non-negotiable. I looked around in disbelief, searching every corner, asking staff, hoping this was some sort of mistake. But no, the horror was real—no ketchup in sight.

Upon realizing the gravity of the situation, I was so distraught that I burst into tears. Yes, you read that right—I wept in public, in the middle of Nando's. I was inconsolable. In a fit of despair, I rushed to the toilets, where, overcome by grief, I smashed my head against the hand dryers. The pain of a Nando's meal without ketchup was too much to bear.

So before going to the restaurant in Mansfield I phoned up to ask them if they accepted all4one vouchers ( on my food voucher Nando’s was on there so I knew I could order from there but just wanted to make sure to save disappointment ) to which she said she was going to get another member of staff as she was unsure , ( which is fair enough) I was told yes you can use that here to sit in or order and collect you just order and we will sort the rest , to which I thanked her and said that I would be in later that day. So I went down at around 3pm with my partner and my 5 year old. I sat down looked at a menu and then went to order. I said to the person at the till I would like to use my voucher he said that it was fine and so I ordered all our food , he then asks another staff member how to process the voucher payment to which she said they can’t do it as the machine isn’t working 😡 For one I wouldn’t usually go to Nando’s as I think it’s overpriced, and with everything going up, everyone is being careful with money. so going for dinner was going to be our family treat, why was I told I could use them in the first place that same day only 3 hours before if I clearly couldn’t.
