TURK NAZZ — Restaurant in Melton

We recently went for dinner at Turk Nazz when staying locally to Melton Mowbray and were served by Ali and his team they were very friendly polite and professional.They had great choice on the menu of Turkish and English dishes. We had starters and main which were all well presented, and were lovely fresh ingredients and the Turkish freshly made bread was divine ! When it came to main because my eyes were bigger than my stomach mainly because of the bread I could not finish my main rather than it go to waste I spoke to Ali and asked for a takeaway. As were staying at Stapleford Park Hotel for the night we had an unusual request that as Turk Naźz opened for lunch the next day as we passed back through Melton we asked if we could pick it up the next day so it could be put in the fridge overnight. Ali was very willing to do that for us and accommodated our request will great ease. The resturant was very clean and had bright decorations and warm atmosphere. The next day came for collection but this is where Ali went above and beyond as my food was freshly cooked from scratch at no extra cost and even a slightly different meal as what I had first ordered was a little spicy for me ..no fault of Turk Nazz it was my wrong choice. Please excuse this long review but it just shows what amazing customer services Ali gave. We have been lucky enough to have travelled the world from 3 to 7 stars but have never had treatment like this it was truly was exceptional! Cannot wait to see them again as...

I was really excited to eat here, and was not at all disappointed! But in the spirit of wanting to offer constructive advice I can't yet give 5 stars for the service, as I assume training is ongoing there. The server we had was lovely and welcoming, just inexperienced. It's a hard job with a lot to learn, and the warm and welcoming personality made up for the little slips. I hope they get the training they need to really excel, because the food here is fantastic and ideally they need to be in step with each other.

It was hard to choose what to order, as so many dishes were appealing. What we had was presented beautifully and was absolutely delicious. Completely faultless.

The location is good, and the interior has a nice atmosphere.

Been looking forward to trying Turk Nazz after lots of positive reviews. Overall a good experience however service was slow, pleasant but not overly customer focused even though it was a quiet night. Lots of choice and we opted for a platter for 3 and a Lamb Shish with yoghurt. The platter looked great, lots of it and lots of variety. All was nice apart from the lamb ribs which were as tough as old boots with little to no meat on them. The Shish with yoghurt had a nice flavour but some of the lamb again was tough and gristly. The croutons were very greasy and not chunks of toasted Turkish bread as I expected. I wouldn't order again. We each paid £24 which included drinks. The free Baklava was to die for. All in all yes I would go again but watch...
