Been here a few times before, food has always been okay no major problems, although head waiter always rushes you to order. Took my girlfriend there tonight as we fancied a curry, starters were okay, my gf ordered a lamb dupiaza for main which she's had from here plenty of times with no problems but tonight it had absolutely no taste at all and the meat was tough and fatty, if anything it tasted a bit like soap. I also tried it and confirmed it had no flavour, so we sent it back and we asked for a new curry which was a bhuna because that's what I had and mine was okay, after 2 mins the 'new' curry was back on our table straight away. My girlfriend instantly noticed that there was rice in the curry , she tasted it and it pretty much tasted the same except there was more tomato base in it , it tasted nothing like my bhuna even though it was meant to be a 'fresh' bhuna, again I tasted it and can confirm that my gf wasn't being picky for the sake of it , she hates complaining in a restaurant! I informed the same waiter that it still didn't taste good and there was rice left over in it so it had blatantly just been reheated, he was rude and refused to listen and said we had dropped rice in the dish even though the rice was there before she started it! He also said that bhuna and dupiaza taste totally different and laughed in my face for saying it tasted the same , to which I told him to stop laughing! In the end all we got was an almighty 10 % off, we overheard the table behind also complaining about the quality saying it wasn't as good as usual and the meat was tough ! We have used Paprika Lounge for a fair few years now and I have to say that we have never had a bad meal from there. Last night I had Chicken Shashlik starter for the second time in two visits, all of the starters that I have had here are superb but this is by far the best for my pallet. For my main I had the chicken tikka keema bhuna which is my usual main at Paprika lounge with Peshwari naan, again this was beautifully presented and tasted awesome. If I had one criticism it would be that the Peshwari naan is lacking in fruit that would elevate it enormously. But again, thank you Paprika lounge, great job and lovely waiters. I have been coming here for years with my girlie friends always have a great night in here however, last night we came here. We were having a lovely evening asked the waiter for the bill. He came over with the sweet menu. Never been offered this before he pointed straight at me and said loudly that I was on a diet. Then when I left he commented as i was leaving.
