I used to love Pizza triangle however I ordered directly from their website on the 11th June and was told the estimated wait for food was 50 minutes. 70 minutes later I called and left an answerphone message, no response so 90 min later I called again, they initially said it would be with me shorty but were being vague as to if the order had been made/ was out for delivery. I had to be insistent and speak to two people to find out that they had not even started the pizzas. They seemed to be prioritising deliveroo orders (probably due to the star rating). They kept offering me a free sauce and it took them 5 minutes to accept cancelling my order and said I would get a refund within 2 days. 2 weeks later and no refund. When I ring it goes to answerphone were the mailbox is full and I am not able to leave a message. There is no other way of contacting them so I will be raising it with my bank and sadly never ordering from them again due to the abysmal service, them taking my money...
Read moreFINALLY had the chance to check this place out. In summary - it lives up to its consistent 5 star rating.
The place is thoroughly clean, you can watch the food being prepared, the oven looks very interesting, the decor is pleasant, the staff friendly, and you can tell that the service is very efficient and the production line is neat. Outcome? Delicious pizza on time that is the closest to Italian pizza I've come across in the UK. Tucked away in little Sheldon. Impressed.
My one feedback point would be to maintain 100% when it comes to ingredient separation. They have different pizza cutters for veg, meat and seafood which is great. Ensure that hands are washed after using meat or seafood products to prevent any cross contamination. I'm sure they already do this but please make sure it is 100%. Look forward to my...
Read moreI genuinely can't rate this place highly enough! Since receiving a very smart menu (hooray for those annoying leaflets poor posties have to lug around) I tried Pizza Triangle as a bit of a test, since pizza places seem to be 2 per penny at the moment - but this one looked a bit different. I ordered delivery - one Tartufo pizza, one mozzarella pesto focaccia (posh garlic bread) and a garlic & herb dip. My address is difficult to find but delivery guy had no problem (although local Domino's half a mile away struggle) - my order was with me in no time and to say it was absolutely delicious is an understatement. The Triangle puts Domino's to shame and knocks spots off Pizza Express. At a push my only criticism is the dip - can I suggest Cardini's, imho the best you can buy? :) Looking forward to long winter...
