I have always ordered from this place and never had a problem but.. one night me and my partner decided to eat out there which to be honest the service was good and the food was amazing as usual but we asked to take our food away as we couldn’t eat no more due to us having alcohol the waiter said that’s fine and gave us our Mint sauce which we asked to take aswelll.... waited another 30 40 mins for them to bring out the containers with our food which was left still nothing so asked the waiter behind the bar and said “we’re going now our food ready to take” his reply no sorry we haven’t saved it we didn’t know you wanted it! The bill came to £37.56 for two starters, popadoms and two drinks, with the 50% eat out help out discount! He did offer to cook us some chicken and rice to take home but completely refused as we did not want to wait around any longer and plus that’s not what we wanted to eat!!! Advice make sure they completely understand ur English and they don’t run away from you before they understand what ur saying! Absolutely fuming at there...

So delicious and (because some people are put off by it) I've never had an over-greasy curry (where you have the oil standing on top of the curry in the container), it's always fresh and filling. This is for the poppadoms and the dips. They are on Just Eat, which is very handy, but don't take Just Eat's word on the time your food will be ready, always check your confirmation email. When they're busy, it's usually about 5 or 10 minutes longer than Just...
Read moreWe have known the owner of Spicewoods for a number of years now and this is the 2nd restaurant of his we have used.
Have been using Spicewoods for over a decade, we have never had a bad meal and the service is always very good. The restaurant has received a make over during the covid period, its it's never looked shabby but now really impressive. The staff always greet you in pleasant and polite manner, before being shown to your table. There is a good selection of meals on the menu, especially with my wife being rather particular with the amount of spice in her meals.
It is located next to Solihull ice rink, so there is always plenty of parking spaces, but be aware you have to log your registration as you enter or you may have a...
