I couldn't rate the food as I didn't have any but all else was right up my street. It's a great little place for those who like their beer. There's a great choice of beers from cask, to keg, to can. What I particularly liked was the instant supply of a couple of try before you buy ales from a selection that wasn't off the wall. Although rhubarb and custard might raise an eyebrow. Unsurprisingly it was full of similarly minded soles, not all men either, which added to a very pleasant atmosphere. There is a TV screen but mercifully with no sound. Lovely little spot right in the centre of Parkgate, great selection of beers, ales and IPA’s from across the globe. A tipple for everyone’s taste. Friendly staff and a clean pub. Plenty of bar snacks to keep to ticking over.

The large windows trap the sun a treat in the summer, outdoors seating is just the ticket for soaking up the sun with a cold one.

Free parking courtesy of Asda for upto 3 hours on the weekday, even longer on the weekend. Lovely

9/10, if your bored of the same old lager from your chain pub this is the spot for sure....

A great little, inviting pub with welcoming, friendly staff that we visited regularly when we could. We have 2 small (mostly quiet) children and they were welcome earlier in the day.
