Looking for the best breakfast in town? Look no further!! Peteks have only been around 4/5 weeks and I have been about 6 times now I think 🤔. Firstly the staff are so lovely with a really inviting and cosy atmosphere. Now the food! Oh the food. It is so fricken delicious. I myself am a vegan and its not so easy to find a proper menu that caters for this. They virtually have a plant based menu the same size as the non plant based. So catering for each dietary requirement. All of their sweet treats made by kirsty are so divine, do not miss out! Personal recommendation for anyone who likes food is the vegan American breakfast. Those pancakes with maple syrup, tofu and vegan bacon are to die for. I order it every time and every time a clean plate. This was a find - easy one to score. Petek's describes itself as a Brunch Restaurant, and that's exactly what it is. There's a fairly small menu, but big enough to cater for most tastes. The food is good, the coffee is very good, it's all reasonably priced, the staff are friendly, service is good - what's not to like?

Some specifics - it's not a huge place, and it does get very busy. They don't have paper menus - you can scan a QR code with your phone (or, if you don't like doing that - I don''t - google the name) and it's really easy to find the user-friendly online menu. We wanted one of the dishes modified and they were happy to accommodate us. Avocado and poached eggs on sourdough toast, poached eggs on a toasted muffin, two coffees, £22 and change.

I visited this lovely cafe yesterday for the first time, the coffee was so good, I ordered the Smoked Salmon, Scrambled Egg and Cream Cheese on toast and it was divine ( the best I've ever had imo ) the chef Victoria was so lovely and polite and knows how to produce gorgeous tasting food aswell as presenting it well too. Katie serving me was so friendly and kind and we had a lovely little chat (felt like I'd known her ages) Such a cute little place and I even stayed a little while longer to have a cup of tea on the lovely window seats watching the world go by out of the rain.
