Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

Went in recently this week in the morning and asked for an iced strawberry matcha with coconut milk to takeaway, I feel like the lady didn’t even realise they had it on the menu as I must’ve repeated myself more than twice. They have instructions on how to make the drinks their side of the counter… I could see this young woman didn’t really know as she looked at it a couple of times… Took a good 10 minutes for her to make which I have no problem with but when it was handed to me it didn’t look like it was suppose to. The matcha was not made properly it was clumpy and bits everywhere on the takeaway cup. I feel like staff need proper training on how to make certain drinks. It tasted like little to no coconut milk was added and I had a stomach ache afterwards. I will not be returning to the cafe as that was such a waste of £4.10.

I went on Monday 27/10/25 at around 11:45am and left at 3:30pm. I was doing paper work, making phone calls and writing a lot of emails. I ordered mocha and it was very good. Average blunt food. Asked for a veggie sausage and did come with a crust 😆 asked for fried egg and got something totally different. Asked for avocado toastie and they did not have. Asked for a smoothie, not had ice to do it. Ice was just a few feet away in the shop by the way. Would not recommend. The foot took too long.
