I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dosa Street, and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish. Tucked away in a charming corner of the city, this gem of a restaurant offers a culinary journey like no other.

From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by an ambiance that exuded warmth and sophistication. The modern decor, complemented by subtle touches of traditional elements, created the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience.

Now, let's talk about the food - it was truly exceptional. The menu boasted a fusion of flavors from around the world, expertly crafted to tantalize the taste buds. I started with the Mutton Chukka, a delightful appetizer bursting with freshness and zingy flavors that set the tone for the rest of the meal.

For the main course, I opted for the Chicken Biriyani , and it was a symphony of flavors. The perfectly cooked Chicken, with its crispy exterior and tender flesh Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, leaving me craving for more.

The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who anticipated our needs and ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was flawless. From recommendations on wine pairings to accommodating dietary preferences, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for.

In conclusion, Dosa Street is a culinary gem that deserves to be celebrated. Whether you're a food enthusiast looking for an exquisite dining experience or simply craving flavors that will awaken your senses, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. I can't wait to return and explore more of their tantalizing menu offerings. Highly...

Today they were definitely not in their best form. The first mistake was ours for arriving 20 mins late, despite calling them in advance, our table was given to someone else. We agreed to wait. That took almost an hour, we were late, I can understand that. It was obvious from the start that they are not managing the workload very well. It took a while for our order to be taken and despite double checking, one dish got missed. Some of the starters arrived 45mins later, but after that - nothing for another 1.5 hours. We asked repeatedly how long it would take as we had kids with us and it was getting really late and one of the dishes was for a kid. We eventually got that one, but still no mains and no 2 starters. We were still a lot more patient than some other customers who decided to give up waiting. Eventually, we got new, empty plates. At that point it was borderline hilarious and customers were jokingly offering to share the dishes they managed to get with each other 🙃 Anyway, food eventually arrived and the food was good, but it was so late that all we wanted to do was go home. They did apologise for the wait, but that's it. We were assured by one of the customers that that's not how it usually happens, so would be willing to give them another chance, as I said the food was good and deserves 4 stars, but the service...

We booked dosa street as a punt for a 60th Birthday dinner. A Saturday night and a table for 9 and we drove over from Aylesburyand south London. I was pleasantly surprised with what we experienced.

Decor - a bit outdated Atmosphere - all tables were full ( good sign) so it was a pleasant atmosphere

Service - there were only 2 owners working and Service was excellent. Didn't have to wait for anything and they responded to requests quickly. Nothing was too much trouble.

Food - outstanding! Everything came out piping hot, every single dish, and was delicious, nothing was greasy. Great size portions so no one went hungry.

We ordered the following starters Chicken 65 Chilli chicken Chilli paneer Samosas Onion bhajis Chicken lollipops Parathas

Mains included Masala dosa Chicken dosa Utapum Plain dosa

And a couple of gulab jaman for a few of us to taste. Plus continuous beer and soft drinks

As we had children we asked them to dial down the Chilli on the dosas the kids ordered. The kids loved it. Even one the one that eats beige food 😂

The bought out our cake we had supplied and played a happy birthday song. Excellent!!

Cost around £23pp.

Thanks dosa street...

Not the usual set up. Been in Mk for years and tried this place for the first time. Rajesh was great. Recommend biryani, chetinaad Chicken and the chicken tikka was awesome flavour. We had dosa, idli and tapas too… all great no problems. Def going back. Thanks.
