Voongs Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Bletchley and Fenny Stratford

Upon our arrival we got served quick and the girl on shift was drunk. They said 20/30 minute wait, we left and arrived back roughly 15 minutes later. Whilst I arrive back they took my payment which they should’ve done the first time round. This is when a gentleman comes in and orders, they say wait time of 40 minutes. Bare in mind I’m still waiting, 10 minutes later the gentleman gets his food and I’m still waiting, so I ask the manager what is going on, he shuts me down and says “few more minutes” no apology or what not” I wait another 10 minutes before asking the server who was drunk and she said another 5 minutes, this is where I cancelled my order and no apologies from the manager or server, or no empathy. Went to voongs last night as an anniversary meal. We was greeted by an unfriendly man saying sit there. We ordered starters then our main meals. I asked for more crispy duck and was told no the kitchen closes soon. My reply was it's an all you eat buffet. I wasnt happy and was then told that we can have no more food. We had only had a few dishes. I challenged the fact that this was an all you can eat buffet and we should of been advised if the kitchen was to close as we entered the restaurant. We’ve been going to Voongs for years but recently the standard has slipped massively in food and service and yesterday especially. The restaurant wasn’t busy when we came in and through out our time there. We waited 25 minutes for small starters, another 30 minutes for duck with pancakes which was absolutely horrible. It was burnt, dry and had spiky bones in it, which luckily we noticed before taking a bite. We then waited another 45 to 50 minutes before our mains came out as this point we asked them to pack it as take-away.
