Read moreI recently visited Thai Pinto, located on the High Street in Leatherhead, and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was inviting — relaxed, warm, and authentically styled without being over the top.
We started with the Prawn Tempura (£8.50), which was light, crispy, and perfectly cooked.
The batter wasn’t greasy, and the prawns were fresh — a great opener to the meal. For the main course, I chose the Goong Priew Wahn (£14.50), a classic sweet and sour dish with prawns. It was well-balanced, not overly sweet, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. Paired with a side of Khao Soway (steamed rice, £3.95), it made for a hearty and satisfying meal.
To accompany the food, we had two bottles of Chang (£9.90 total) and a Pint of Singha (£6.95). Both beers were chilled perfectly and complemented the Thai flavors excellently.
After the meal, a Hazelnut Coffee (£7.00) was the perfect ending — aromatic, smooth, and just the right strength.
The overall bill came to £55.90, which included a £5.10 service charge. Considering the quality of the food, drink, and service, I found it to be good value for money.
Service: The staff were friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and clearly cared about the guests having a good experience.
Overall Verdict: Thai Pinto offers authentic, flavorful Thai food in a welcoming environment with great service. Perfect for a casual dinner with friends or a relaxed date night. I’ll definitely...
Read moreNever order takeaway from them! 3 times in a row they have got our order wrong and last time I know I ordered two the same of everything but somehow we only got one. Called up and the lady insisted I said one. Why would I say one when it’s two pork, two rice, two drinks and as she said she repeated it at the end (she definitely said two I’m not an idiot) and I said yes. When we spoke to her she didn’t even apologise and try to rectify the situation - they need a lesson in customer service. I’ve been buying from there for years and brought so many customers to them but unfortunately now after 3 times getting the delivery order wrong I won’t ever spend money here again. There’s a better Thai restaurant in...
