Pat's Sandwich Bar — Restaurant in New Forest

Popped in for a quick bite to eat. Staff were friendly enough. I ordered a bacon and egg baguette. It was the worlds smallest baguette half cooked. The egg was boiled and sliced, did get offered egg mayo. There were to slices of non descript pink stuff I assume was the bacon but was tasteless. Popped in for something to take away on a boiling hot day. I was welcomed with lovely smiles from the staff. The bread was lovely and crisp on the outside, soft in the middle. I chose prawn cocktail, which was creamy and refreshing, especially in this heat. I also bought a gorgeous choc chip shortbread and a drink, all for a decent, comfortable price. Highly recommend pats sandwich bar, after being let down at the last minute, pats sandwich bar jumped in and provided us with a sandwich buffet which was fantastic, lovely fresh sandwiches with lots of delicious fillings, thank you for saving the day....
