We booked a table for a hen do, we were having a great night until one of our party went to the bar to order a double gin, when she was handed the gin she questioned the measurement as they don’t use measuring glasses and what they put in didn’t look like it was a double… as a paying consumer she was well within her rights to ask the question, because she asked the staff then refused to serve her. When she went to order another drink all the bar staff started whispering to eachother and the person who was taking the serving said sorry we can’t serve you, at this she walked away and told myself and her daughter the situation so we went to speak with the bar staff manager which we were told ‘because she questioned the gin amount that’s accusing us of stealing’ this statement from the woman manager was just ridiculous… so because we questioned that means we are saying your stealing… then she added how they do regular pour tests… again so your to tell me every single drink they pour is the exact measurement I think not. Nobody’s that good. We tried to neutralise the situation by asking if they will continue to serve the person in our party and they said no so we finished our drinks and left. Just rude service over a question asked, not having measuring equipment definitely is for their gain not consumers, I know judging by the replies to their other 1 star reviews that they will probably come back with some bull story, nobody was aggressive to us or nor were we back, their rules are just ridiculous, even on the way out I left a can of drink at the front door as I had it in my bag from the train, I asked the guys to keep hold of it so I can have it when we come out, I asked the bouncer for it back and he said yeah so I picked it up and then asked the other bouncer if I can go past to leave the bar and he snatched the drink off me for no reason, the other bouncer said no she’s okay she can have it back she’s going and then he said okay sorry but honestly there was no need to snatch it off me without questioning me first where I’m going or what I was doing. I loved visiting here! Been in a few times but have only just got round to giving this place a review. The cocktails are delicious, the music is always great and fun to dance to, but the best quality about this place is definitely the staff!

I have been served by most of them now, and they are always consistently friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A girl with brown hair called Emily (I think she's a manager) always recognizes me and remembers my drink order! There's a lad called Matty who you can tell absolutely loves his job - he always throws ice to the music and parties hard... I've never seen him without energy on the bar. Theres another bartender called Josh who is always doing some cool tricks when pouring the cocktail, its so exciting to watch! The host who sat me on Saturday was so friendly, I think she was called Niamh, and she helped us find our table and made sure our visit was perfect!
