Pizza Addict - Best Pizzas, Burgers & Kebabs in Newcastle NE4 — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

Really lovely Pizza's, soft fluffy dough, well baked, with plenty of toppings, we actually ordered twice from here tonight, i stole a piece of my son's vegetarian hot pizza, and had to get one! Husband always gets the half pound cheese Burger, he's REALLY fussy about take away food, like...REALLY ( well he is italian , they know good food!) and he has always thoroughly enjoyed his burgers, the quality is always consistent, and he says the flavour of the meat is great, he also really likes the kebab meat they do here ( along with my son) my husband is actually a delivery driver for another Local take away that does kebab, but he wont even eat a kebab from there if it was free, but they both say pizza addict kebab is at least ten times better than the take away he works for. To top all of this, we had a pizza delivered tonight, the poor guy was knocking for ages, but i was in the garden and just didnt hear the door.....they rang me, and brought the pizza up for a second time, and didnt even charge me!! The delivery driver was lovely as well, he was bound to have been annoyed, but you couldnt tell, give these guys a try, i really dont think you'll be...

the workers were friendly (at first) when i ordered. however… hygiene 0. he was wearing gloves but was touching everything with the gloves on- might as well have not put gloves on?? his friend came into the shop and he shook his hand twice with the gloves on, then touched the food.

i ordered a 10” tandoori pizza, wings and chips and my food took 30 minutes to be ready. there were no other customers or deliveries waiting. i asked how long it would be after 20 minutes of waiting and was told 2 more minutes, waited another 10 minutes after that. i then asked for a drink as compensation for waiting and the guy was rude- telling me to just pay??? customer service 0.

i then got home and the food was not even worth the wait😐 pizza tasted weird (i think it was the sauce that was off), hot wings were burnt and not tasty at all (worst wings i’ve had in my life), chips were mid (not bad, not good).

Thought this place was OK and it's my local☹️☹️, But gradually over time this place has now become a complete joke TBH. The food has went way down hill to say the very least. If your a English speaking customer they have honestly started to not bother putting any effort into preparing your food and when your in the shop they don't make you feel welcome at all and you feel very uncomfortable in the shop. If someone comes in and speaks the same language then they get priority regardless if you have been waiting longer for your order and it kills me to say this. It's sad as I enjoyed this place but its went downhill, especially when the 2 women are left on their own to organise and run the place as they haven't got a clue in all fairness. My food is really not acceptable but I just hope they sort it out because they were a good takeaway in the past. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LACK OF ORGANISATION!!! POOR TIMEKEEPING AND NO RESPECT...
