Walking around Leazes Park gave me such a sense of peace and relaxation I've never felt from anywhere else. From the bndstand to the lake and all the decorations for the upcoming Northern Lights event it was so nice to walk around. One thing I love is so different to down here in Plymouth which is animals can graze on the land for a few months of the year which I think is awesome and even though we have a large park in Plymouth that's not something that is allowed which is a shame. Read moreWhat a filthy dirty smelly park this has become, the council (labour) is a dam disgrace together with it's cohorts the urban green brigade, just allowing what was once a beautiful park fall into such a sad state of disrepair. How is it other councils can keep their parks clean and tidy with boats on boating lakes and beautiful flower beds? An absolutely great place to sunbathe in summer with plenty of secluded areas for those wishing to avoid unsightly tan lines, has a pond with ducks in residence, a playground and tennis facilities, however in a mindlessly distinct Newcastle fashion, lacks a public convenience.
