Subway — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

Everytime I visit this shop they always seem to get my order wrong - must have to repeat myself about 3/4 times and yet it's still always incorrect? Staff here are very young and inexperienced making a sandwich or salad. No effort at all and it seems like it's a chore for them to make you something. No good customer service skills at all. Yesterday I asked a young girl with long dark hair for a 'tastes like chicken' salad... she replied 'dunno what that is' then walked off??? Then a young lad came over and asked what i want.. I said the same thing and he said 'turkey?' I said 'no tastes like chicken' .. he then looked puzzled and repeated back 'tuna?' I had to shout and point and say what I wanted. Definitely will not be back to this branch. I found the girl who was working today at about lunchtime with long dark hair and light blue jeans on very intimidating and could see she was making negative comments about customers which she thought I could not hear. learn to get some customer service, listen to your customers and appreciate your job a bit...

The guy who works mid week is smiley and helpful but the dark haired girl today (sat) was awful! Spent her time complaining about how short staffed they were, complaining at the queue for being there. Ordered a plain cheese alongside 2 mini toasties, a salad box and a 6 inch sub wanted a cheese sandwich no meat no veg, but asked for butter (told they don't serve butter... sorry thought it was a sandwich shop!) Then i asked for more cheese, she said she'd have to charge extra ad there were 4 triangles in already. Really poor value and an awful sandwich so I said i didn't want it so she threw it over the other side of the shop. Seriously if you manage this shop this girl needs to get better at her customer service or find somewhere where she'll be...

This subway spouse to be open until 9pm on Sunday, I went at 8:45 to order some food and on the Electronic display it said “Open” but as long as I enter on the shop, staff said “OH we already shut down our machine and we have already clean the shop, sorry we couldn’t serve you”. Straightaway I asked them what time you are open until?? They said “until 9pm, but we have clean everything, so we could not serve you”. As a customer I found that’s really ridiculous and rubbish service, does not make sense why “Shop open until 9pm, when you do not want serve your customers before 9pm, this is shocking 😡😡😡😡😡😡, next time make sure you display your correct time, if you don’t serve your customers please make sure you change your timetable...
