Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

Decided to have breakfast in the cafe after shopping at the Cowgate site. Scrambled egg on toast x2 - but the quality of food has really deteriorated since our last visit before first lockdown.. Scrambled eggs were so overcooked, doorstop toast under cooked, and by the time taken to butter said toast, egg was stone cold.

It's unfortunate - the staff there seem to have lost interest in making the place a friendly cafe.

I suppose for meeting friends over a cuppa is about all I would suggest to people..however, don't choose the tea...it's horrible. ..plump for a machine coffee.

It would be nice if they had good food for the money that they charge you . I had both of my young sons with me , and they both wanted a Chicken Nuggets meal each . Their food arrived and I was SHOCKED to see that they received 4 chicken nuggets the size of cats balls . The chips were ok and the peas were dry as all hell . Then I was charged for the drinks and the drinks were supposed to be included in the price...

Went for my normal breakfast like I always do and some woman is strutting around like she owns the place.. they have completely changed the bread they use as toast and put little butter with it and now serve the beans in a tiny bowl everything is separate on the plate... they need to rethink about it.. or I'll go else where...
