Mister America Pizza — Restaurant in Newcastle upon Tyne

Ordered with specific notes to say which salad/sauces due to allergies and said thank you at the end of the note… on full order note added second reminder to check the notes.

Husband went to collect and once home to open the whole order was wrong including sauce and allergies.

Called restaurant and was advised they would not refund or replace unless we drove it back and they would not pay a driver to collect the food. We not do this given it’s now after 9pm so said sending a driver to collect for their error is the only option.

This was 45 mins from placing the order, going to collect and returning home but being told it had been over an hour and they couldn’t help because of this.. order times and call times prove the member of staff was lying about this.

Shop reluctantly advised they’d send a driver to collect the incorrect order and replace after arguing they couldn’t due to not knowing my address (which is on the account) and then never actually sent anyone.

Attitude was disgusting, 2nd time they’ve got out order wrong - once ordering in person and 2nd time ordering online with notes and reminders thinking it was food proof. Clearly not.

Really poor service and order inconsiderate of allergies...

Been going here for over 7 years used to be a good bunch of lads serving tasty, quality food but after what I saw tonight ill not be back. Went to collect my order was 10 minutes early so had to wait, in that time I saw one lad blow his nose put his tissue in his pocket and carry on preparing food without washing his hands another lad went to throw a bread bun in the pizza oven to warm up but missed and it fell on floor instead of putting it straight in the bin he put it back next to other buns and when he saw I'd seen he started laughing! Food was below par, burger fell apart, donner wrap had hardly anything in it and pizza base tasted stale. Gutted as it used to be...

This is hands down my favourite place in Newcastle, to the point I've had friends visiting from all sorts of places tell me they miss it.

Today I'm having the Kiev parmesan, but I've had so many different things from Mr America and I've liked everything. The chicken wraps are so good and the America special is my absolute favourite.

I have literally talked about Mr America pizza so much since about 2020, that I have a friend on my Minecraft server who built "Mr England pizza" and intends to come over from Seattle just to try it.

The drivers are always super lovely too and always make sure I'm feeling ok to come down, which is nice because...
