I recently had the pleasure of interacting with Alanna and Harry at Tortilla, and I must say, their customer service and efficiency were absolutely outstanding! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience.

Alanna and Harry were both incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. They took the time to cater towards my dietary requirements, ensuring that they fully understood what I was looking for. Their expertise in their respective roles was evident, as they provided insightful recommendations and guidance throughout the entire process.

What truly impressed me was their efficiency. Alanna and Harry wasted no time in addressing my inquiries promptly and efficiently. Their attention to detail and dedication to resolving any issues or concerns promptly was truly remarkable.

Moreover, Alanna and Harry's professionalism and friendly demeanor made the entire experience enjoyable. They created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which further enhanced my satisfaction as a customer. Their genuine care and willingness to go the extra mile were truly appreciated.

First time visiting so wasn't sure what to expect. Would've been helpful to have had someone out front to show you to a table and explain how it worked - you just seemed to be able to walk in and sit anywhere. The music was very loud so found it difficult to hear what the staff were saying. We ordered ours as a meal deal with the chips and drink but they didn't bring us the chips until after we had finished the rest and they'd cleared the table - so we ended up with two bags of dry chips and no dips, they weren't really much use to us and got thrown out. We also had to ask for the churros as they didn't seem to be bringing these over to the table either. Could've overlooked these things had it been really busy, but there were a lot of empty tables.

Quite expensive for what we got I felt. The quesadilla was soft rather than crispy (not sure if intentional, but I've had them elsewhere and they've been firmer) so wouldn't recommend this. December 9th, 2021. Update to my review. This place is great. As I have said before, this is the place for guacamole! Today having three tacos, 1 beef, 2 chicken, with sour cream, cheese, guacamole, lime, medium salsa, corn tortilla and wow the pickled onions are delicious. Large guacamole with chips. PRO tip: You have to dip out the extra guac onto the tacos. Everyone there is so nice and hard working. Definitely one of my regular “go to” places for lunch in Newcastle.

I have now been to Tortilla at least 10x. The guacamole is made fresh every day. Avocados are a super food and everyone should read them daily. You can get that at tortilla. The tacos, quesadillas, and burritos are all equally good. Go and give it a try. You will not be disappointed
