Coffee Thirst — Restaurant in Newport

Nice relaxing atmosphere, cosy seating options. PLENTY to choose from on the waffle /pancake menu & the portions could comfortably feed 2 people (unless you want to overdose on sugar 😊). Very nice coffee - again plenty of choice ,& fantastic milkshakes (if the vanilla is anything to go by ). I wasn't expecting to find them serving savoury food also, so was delighted with the omelette from the menu which was served with 2 slices of doorstop toast. Would I go back for more? Yes, already have. Would I recommend it to anyone? Without hesitation - Coffee Thirst ticks all the boxes - great food, great drinks, relaxing atmosphere, lovely staff, reasonably priced , i forgot to mention they deliver also! Only downside is the toilet, and it is 1 toilet at the bottom of the stairs ( which are not expected immediately upon opening the door ) in the basement which reminds me of what I can only describe as an old dungeon, however this is not enough to lose...

We ordered: 🍃 Aero Mint Milkshake 🍫 Bueno Milkshake 🌟 San Sebastián Baked Cheesecake with milk & white chocolate and pistachio 💖 Chocolate Crunch Cake with pink custard

🍰 The cheesecake was simply heavenly—light, creamy, and so authentic it felt like a slice straight from Northern Spain.

🎂 The Chocolate Crunch Cake was pure nostalgia. The pink custard brought back school dessert memories in the best way possible!

🍴 We can’t wait to return, explore more of the menu, and definitely order the cheesecake again!

Have been a loyal customer for about a year, the food is fantastic, however after placing a pre order today and the order being messed up I rang to get it corrected to which I was told after calling back and forth my order will not be rectified due to the fact that "my staff are like family and would not lie to me". I placed the call and was answered by a female member of staff who passed me onto a Male member of staff to take my order all was fine. The manager has confirmed that a Male member of staff was in, I then get told that I was a liar and the female staff member took my order. As I rang the store, how can I possibly know that there was a Male staff member working. The attitude I was given by the Manager of this establishment was appalling and I will never order...
